Team Desselle 12 – Team Arcement 13

Team Arcement: Team Arcement vs Team Desselle was a tightly contested game that
turned into  a defensive battle. Both teams opened the game with touchdowns, but team
Arcement lead at the half 13-6. Scores were hard to come by in the second half as the
team Desselle rush turned up the pressure. A late score by team Desselle gave them a
chance to tie the game, but the extra point was stopped. Team Arcement eventually
won 13-12, but not before 7 plays ended with a Hail Mary chance by team Desselle.
Team Arcement’s defense held up on the Hail Mary to take home the win.

Team Desselle: Maybe next week Matt can convince little brother to send in a write up.

Team May 24 – Team Allen 14

Team May: Team May took the ball first and veteran QB Kyle Hebert marched them
down the field with a few short passes before finding Brett May in the back of the end
zone to take a 6-0 lead, XP failed. Team Allen followed with a drive of their own, but a
tough pass rush from Parker Marschall caused a mistake from the opposition and Brett
May intercepted the ball in the back of the endzone ending TA’s first drive. On the next
drive, TM forgot how to play offense and gained exactly 0 yards before Hebert tried to
scramble for the cone on 4th down, but TA held and got the ball inside the 10. A few
plays later Leaphart hit Steve Davis for a TD. XP good, 7-6. In the waning moments of
the first half, Hebert connected with Danton Alexius a few times and on the final play
threw a desperation hail mary. The ball tipped off the two players and landed in the
hands of May for a TD to end the half, XP failed, 12-7.

TA went down the field to open the second half before having the drive end with a pick 6
from May. 18-7, XP failed (we’re going to work on XPs). On the next TA drive, good
coverage from TM defenders Dan Cuendet, Edgar Roncancio, and Corey Levey, forced
them to use a lot of clock taking small gains down the field, before getting the ball to
Caleb Dixon for a TD, 18-14.

Hebert burned enough time with short passes to Marschall and Michael Sumner to get
us into 7 plays. Near midfield, on the first play of 7, Hebert rolled left and threw back
across the field finding a wide open Sumner (#1 Sumner) in the end zone to end the
game with a TD, 24-14.

Ryan Mockler and KB43 were also in attendance cheering on the squad while they
recover on IR.

Team Allen: No write up – Ryan was out – team in disarray.

Team McKee 20 – Team Aillet 21

Team McKee: To start the game Team Aillet steady marched down the field with a td
pass from Matt Walker to Lucas Hahn. Team McKee gets the ball: QB Pat Walker rolls
left with a wide open pass to McKee, instead he stares Lucas Hahn in the eyes and
passes HIM the ball. Lucas Hahn has the easiest pick 6 of BRAAS history.  Next series
Team McKee makes their way down and scores with a pass from Pat Walker to Kevin
Coogan. McKee gets a stop on Team Aillet, then scores again with a rushing td by Pat
Walker right before half, score is 13-13.

To start the second half Team McKee has the ball and slowly marches down the field to
score a td from a pass by Pat Walker to Eric Nicaud, extra point attempt is made. Next
play Team Aillet takes their time rolling down field with yet another td catch by Lucas
Hahn, 3 for the evening making him the recommended POTW! They miss the extra
point attempt.

There’s 2:20 left in the game, score is 20-19, Team McKee has the ball. Thinking we’ve
got this game in the bag we drag out the clock to get to seven plays. Then the
unexpected happened. Overall MVP Kevin “mother *&*$***#*” Coogan high snaps the
ball over Pat Walkers head past the 50yrd line. Safety, 2 points to Team Aillet. Score is
21-20 Aillet going into 7 plays and Team Aillet takes the W. Idk what Team Aillet paid the
so-called Overall MVP for that nonsense but it better of been good.

Secretary’s Note – Reigning Overall MVP Kevin Coogan reached out to me to
dispute the details of the bad snap that resulted in a safety for Team Aillet saying
“No – that didn’t happen – don’t believe what you read in the write ups.”

Team Aillet: No write up which is disappointing given how they [allegedly] won the
game.

Team Pecue 7 – Team Pogue 6

Team Pecue: This one was a defensive battle.

Rookie Korey Salmon had an INT on the opening possession. Team Pecue then scored
on a TD by sub Guy Hymel, with the extra point by Ferrara.
The teams traded defensive stops until Team Pogue scored at the end of the 1st half on
4th and goal on a right place, right time TD by Menck, extra point failed.
The defense ramped up in the 2nd half with multiple goal line stops including a clutch
Lane Pitre INT.

Team Pogue had the ball with 3 plays left and 40 yards to go. Luckily Kitto couldn’t quite
secure a last play deep shot. Team Pecue wins 7-6

Team Pogue: No write up – bankers hours.
