What a freaking day.  Temps were hot.  Tempers got a little warm.  We had winners and we had losers.

Congrats to our Champs – Team May (Brett May, Alex Anderson – R, Blake Eaton, Thomas Bickham, Hunter Geisman, David Plaisance and Ryan Babin)

Coming in a VERY CLOSE second was Team McKenzie (only 2.8 points behind) (Caleb McKenzie, Bill Merrit – R, Kyle Hebert, Nate Black, Lucas Hahn, Matt Williams and Lane Pitre)

Then there were a lot of teams with a lot of scores after the top 2………and then there was Team Secrist taking the pink hats (Rusty Secrist, Chris Pumilla -R, Nelson Davenport, Vic Troullier, Kishan Shah, Kyle Pfefferle and Karan Patel)

Everyone knows that 6 on 6 is a huge undertaking and there are a lot of folks to thank:

Our sport scorers – J-Mart, Dixon, Dizzy, Cooter, Doogie, Mark Braud, Jim Phillips, Fuqua and Jagot

As always thanks to our crew that keeps the coolers filled, relays the scores and does anything and everythign in between on game day – Jason Landry, Kevin Reed and Grady Savoie

Our official score keeper for this year (and several years) – Jerry Outlaw

If you were on the flag football field at any time you probably want to thank Jim Phillips for the portable misters – MVP!

Our Friday night crew – Kokesh (R), George, Grady, Jagot, Ted Adams (also supplied the go go juice) and Beav

Our partner at PARDS – John Arbour

Oschner for sending out the trainers

Anyone and everyone who brought tents and tables.  (and Jason Nay who brought a trailer load)

Big shout out to Brett May for literally wrangling together a complete roster with 16 captains.  These draft boards don’t make themselves.

And last but certainly not least – Mr. 43 Kerry Bueche who has been running 6 on 6 for years.  Maybe he has one more in him?
